Alex McLeish hopeful over David Murphy's injury
DAVID Murphy's injury was the only downside to Blues' cruise to the second round of the Carling Cup.
He was substituted at half-time, but as a precautionary measure, said manager Alex McLeish.
"He over-stretched and slipped. The surface was pretty tough and he almost did the splits, and it gave him a wee tweak in the groin,'' said the manager.
"We hope he will make it at the weekend. We took him off as a precaution and in Franck Queudrue we had a ready-made replacement."
